Getting here
Getting to Gascony.
Most women fly to Toulouse and take the group transfer. It is the simplest way and it means you are not hiring a car for a week you are not going to drive.

The ways in
Three waysto arrive.
Talk to Jo before you book anything. She will look at your flight options with you, which is easier than unpicking them afterwards.

Fly to Toulouse
About an hour and twenty minutes away by road. It is the airport Jo's group shuttle runs from, in the afternoon and this is how most women come. The shuttle is at your own expense and Jo confirms the details and the cost by email.
There is no fixed departure time for the transfer. Jo sets it once every guest has given her final travel details. The earliest is around two o'clock in the afternoon. Check in at the château is from four o'clock.

Come by train
The train goes to Agen. A taxi from Agen station to the château is around €100 each way and takes about forty five minutes. Jo can book it for you.

What to bring.
Nothing here needs a smart wardrobe. It is the countryside. The point of the week is not having to think about it.
- April and May
- Warm afternoons and cool evenings. Layers and something with sleeves for sitting outside after dinner.
- September and October
- Often still warm in the day and properly cool once the sun goes. A coat you do not mind walking in.
- For the walks
- Shoes you have already broken in. The Camino stretch is thirteen kilometres and is not the day to try new boots.
- For the water
- Swimwear. There is the indoor heated pool, the jacuzzi, the hammam, the two saunas and the outdoor natural pool.
- For the market
- A bag you do not mind filling and cash for the stalls.
About the address.
The full address goes out with your booking confirmation, not before. Jo keeps the château itself a little bit under wraps. It is a quiet corner of France and she would like it to stay that way, which is also why you will not find a map pin on this page.
